The best movies cannot be measured by any means as the term best is somewhat subjective. It is not simply the name that may bring any movie of 2005 to be the best, there are a number of factors within a movie which when correlate in a true spirit carry the movie to the peak. Grading of the movie depends upon the best performance in all forms of art including acting, direction, script, screenplay, selection of artists, sound, dubbing, editing for that matter you name a thing and it produces an effect.
The ideal way to assess a movie these days is to do a survey that is a bit time and effort taking but may rate a movie to its actual worth. Often the movies are rated best or dumb by simply the display at the box office. But, a neutral and wide study brings out the actual results. For a long time it is established that the movies found once in the top list are the one which repeatedly appear on the top lists as an outcome of separated studies.
Claim of best movies is not solely for the reasons explained earlier; in fact it is determined by the trend of the time too. The movie “Night Mare on the Elm Street” or “The Predator” gave birth to a trend and at that period, countless movies were released on identical lines yet every one of them could obtain the level of best, just a few did. Movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street, “date with an angel”, “God father”, “the forest Gump”, “the gladiator”, “the good the bad the ugly” or “walk like a man”, “superman”, “Spiderman” may be called as all-time best but of course there would be so many of us who would mark these movies nowhere close to the best.
There remains a consensus among many movie historians, critics, and the viewers that the movies once graded best are definitely among the most critically investigated, meaningful, and must-see films of their times. These are the movies which leave endless and unforgettable imprints on us. They entertain, captivate, inform, and touch us emotionally. These best movies were produced long time ago and might have been ignored on first release but the time endured test proved them as the best.
